The centre and north of the island: Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron and its market, Saint-Georges and Boyardville, La Brée-les-Bains, Saint-Denis-d'Oléron and the Chassiron lighthouse. These are the longest journeys from La Rochelle: book early in summer, as arrivals cluster on Saturdays.
